Finally we are back from Hawaii. Here are some photos taken out of 700-800+ from our trip. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip as we promised ourselves. But we couldn't help it .... we ended up visiting dozens of places:

Both hotels were great. Stuffs at Halekulani were extremely friendly. The service was excellent. We both loved the room with ocean front view. Even though Kahala, has better lobby/building/private beach, Halekulani at Wakiki Beach is a lot more convenient for us. Each hotel is unique in different ways. BTW, we didn't expect to see so many Japanese around.

Yeah that's true.. Hawaii is such a fun place with lots of activities. We just couldn't help exploring the entire island.
We did try to relax a bit on the beach & in the swimming pool, but it was way too boring... so we decided to see as much as we can during our stay in Hawaii. I guess we will relax more when we get older....

I always want to have a relaxed vacation, but everytime I go to a new place, I go everywhere like a chicken without a head.
Wow, you guys did a lot in this trip. Did you try surfing on the North Shore or Wakiki?
MiniDV, i think the only thing that everyone forget to mention is the WEATHER!! nothing beats the weather there.
Leigo I heard the north shore is kinda rough for beginners, but MiniDV always think that things are EASY (e.g. Ski)
Actually, it was cloudy when we first arrived. The receptionist told us usually the weather is nice. I guess we were lucky to have 2 cloudy days to start our trip.
Yeah it was windy & very “wavy” at North Shore. I don’t think North Shore is for beginner surfers. We didn’t surf, since we can’t swim… too risky...:-) And that's why we went for scuba diving. At first, Powderpuff didn't want to, but I insisted.
She didn't want to do these:
sky diving (someone jump with you)
sky gliding
helicopter tour
swim with dolphin
shark encounter (you dive under a closed cage where shark swim around you)
Polynesian Culture Center is a must-visit place. No, we only stayed at Oahu this time, but it was quite fun already with one island.
Well.. well.. I am a big baby when it comes to pain. I am not afraid to die, but so afraid of pain.
Come on! we already did a lot for the limited time frame.
Some of the activities, such as surfing, that I am just not interested.
PCC is fun to see until we became soooooooooo sleepy at the night show which didn't wake me up.
how could you go scuba diving if you don't know how to swim?
At least we can breath under the water...:-)
We didn't swim, 2 instrustors grab each of of us separately and swim with us in the water. So we just concentrated on our breathing.... and they took care the rest.

Japaneses love going to Hawaii!! It's like one of their most popular travel destinations. They know Hawaii (especially Honolulu) inside out. They write the best guide books on Hawaii!

We stayed in Oahu only. I believe that earthquake occured in the Big Island, Hawaii. It's likely to have earthquakes there since it's considered being created today as it has the active volcano.
